Matching the high throughput Raman spectrometers, Wasatch Photonics offers a Raman probe with a very high flexibility. All Raman probes already come with an integrated filter set.
Excitation Wavelength | 532, 638, 785, 830, or 1064 nm |
Collection Optics | f/1.3 |
Laser Spot Size |
~170 µm |
Collection Area | 1 mm diameter spot when using 600 µm collection fiber |
Collection Distance | 11 mm (lens to sample) |
Laser Band Pass Filter | 3 nm bandwidth, >OD 6 out of band rejection |
Long pass/Edge Filter | >80% transmission, laser line blocking >OD 6 |
The flexibility is primarily achieved by the unscrewable probe shaft. With corresponding adapters, it can be adapted to the Thorlabs system (SM05), for example. This allows a variety of new measurement geometries to be realized very easily and very cost-effectively. With the help of these adapters, lenses with different focal lengths or microscope objectives (Thorlabs SM1 + Thorlabs RMS adapter required) can now also be used. Wasatch Photonics already offers a standard lens set with the corresponding adapter and 3 lenses with different focal lengths.
As a further highlight, the Ballprobe® from Marqmetrix can also be adapted via an adapter. This special probe with ball lens is perfectly suited for industrial use with powders, pastes and liquids.
