HySpex Kameras by NEO – high sensitive, hyperspectral Imaging

  • Hyperspectral cameras comprises VNIR models, operating in the range 400 to 1000 nm, and SWIR models operating in the range 900 to 2500 nm
  • HySpex cameras can be used for laboratory, ground and airborne applications
  • Hyperspectral scanners provide highest precision in spectral mapping
  • Actively cooled detector ensure high radiometric accuracy and high dynamic range
  • Exact synchronization with external events (e.g. navigation systems) are enabled by TTL level trigger signals

Short Description

HySpex hyperspectral cameras by NEO (Norsk Elektro Optikk) aims to be a compact, high performance and versatile instrument for a multitude of applications, ranging from airborne to laboratory and industrial use of imaging spectroscopy. Hyperspectral imaging combines the power of digital scanning and spectroscopy. For each pixel in an image, a hyperspectral scanner acquires the light intensity (radiance) for a large number of contiguous spectral bands. Every pixel in the image thus contains a continuous spectrum (in radiance or reflectance).

All HySpex cameras are compatible for both ground based and airborne applications. The cameras can be delivered with a wide range of close-up lenses, making them very versatile and ideal for a wide range of applications requiring different spatial resolutions without compromising the optical performance of the system.
