An imaging photometer, colorimeter or radiometer is a powerful, CCD-or CMOS-based instrument that provides for vastly increased productivity compared with ‘spot’ luminance meters and colorimeters. An imaging photometer can measure the illuminance, luminance, irradiance or colour of millions of points simultaneously. With a conoscopic lens attached, the imaging colorimeter can then be used to measure the view angle of a display.
