Hyperspectral & Multispectral Imaging

SphereOptics supplies a range of advanced hyperspectral and multispectral imaging systems. We offer multiple hyperspectral camera technologies, each with their own, unique value proposition. We supply real time “snapshot” imagers for the 355-1000nm range from Cubert, as well as “push-broom” hyperspectral line-scan imagers for the 400-2500nm range from HySpex, and real-time multispectral imagers from Surface Optics. We supply tuneable Fabry-Pérot filter cameras for the 400-1700nm band from Hinalea, and also VNIR Fabry-Pérot cameras optimised for OEM applications from Unispectral. Last but not least, we supply imaging FTIR spectrometers from Telops.

A spectral imager is a hybrid camera-spectrometer where the “image” is a 3D data-cube, and the third dimension corresponds to the spectral information. To understand the technology that drives the different types of spectral imagers that we supply, and their attributes, we invite you to read our Technical Note on Spectral Imaging Technologies.
