With more than 20 years of expertise, SphereOptics has established itself as a trusted supplier of high-end equipment and services for demanding applications in photonics and optical metrology. Our core competencies include instruments for measuring light and the optical properties of materials, photodiodes, nanopositioning systems, as well as solutions in spectroscopy and spectral imaging. We also manufacture our proprietary diffuse reflectance material, Zenith Polymer, which is used in reflectance calibration standards, LIDAR targets, and OEM optical components such as integrating spheres.

Our optical calibration laboratory in Herrsching near Munich provides PTB/NIST traceable measurement services for reflectance, transmittance, and BRDF/BTDF scatter. Reflectance measurements are accredited to ISO 17025 by DAkkS, ensuring the highest level of quality and reliability. Additionally, we support our customers with tailored consulting, installation, and training.
