Reflectance Calibration Standards

SphereOptics supplies certified standards of diffuse reflectance that are used to calibrate colorimeters, reflectometers, spectroradiometers, BRDF scatterometers, UV-VIS spectrophotometers and FTIR spectrometers. Our reflectance standards are offered using proprietary Zenith Polymer® or using Labsphere’s Spectralon® diffuse reflectance material. The range includes standards of diffuse reflectance for the 250-2500nm range (white and greyscale). All are characterised by stable, Lambertian reflectance which provides for consistent reflectance regardless of instrument alignment or illumination and viewing geometries. Reflectance standards are typically small, circular disks (up to 50mm or 2 inches diameter), but should you need a larger surface, for example for calibrating a LIDAR or ADAS sensor or for testing a spectral imager, we also offer reflectance targets.
