Zenith Lite™ / Greyscale Coating – Ultra-lightweight Reflectance Targets

SphereOptics provides a broad range of ultra-lightweight reflectance targets. The Zenith Lite™ targets are built from a 1 mm or 2 mm Zenith Polymer® diffuser attached to a 10–15 mm thick aluminum honeycomb plate using a high-performance PTFE adhesive. This laminating technique allows multiple reflectance levels on a single target with no visible seams (max. width 1040 mm). Targets can be manufactured in any size and in any combination of white and grey-scale reflectance levels. The unique backing can be drilled for easy attachment to other mounting devices.

  • Constant reflection over the wavelenght range 250 – 2450 nm
  • Tolerance in reflectance value depending on batch in range of ± 3 %
  • Certified calibration using a PerkinElmer Lambda 950, which is traceable to PTB and NIST
  • Surface reflectance is constant in range of ± 1 % R
  • Laser damage threshold: 8 J/cm²  pulsed laser
  • Field calibration of portable spectrometers (Remote Sensing)
