The spectradiometer JETI specbos 2501-NIR has an extended wavelength range from 380 to 1100 nm, which can be used to measure the visible and near infrared wavelength range. The spectroscopy instrument measures the spectral Radiance. All other parameters as sensitivity, measuring mode (Radiance), viewing angle and optical resolution remain the same as of the standard device.
The latest generation of JETI’s Specbos range of spectroradiometers, the Specbos 2501 improves upon the highly successful Specbos 1201 and 1211. Offering the same versatility, the Specbos 2501 is configured for measuring spot spectral radiance (luminance), but by attaching an optional cosine diffuser, the Specbos 2501 can also be used to measure spectral irradiance (illuminance).
Being a spectroradiometer, the Specbos 2501 measures the spectral radiance or irradiance of the light source between 380 and 780nm (380-1000nm for the NIR model, 200nm-1000nm for the UV model) and accurately computes all of the derived photometric and colorimetric parameters, including luminance, illuminance, CIE chromaticity, correlated colour temperature (CCT) and colour rendering index (CRI), as well as circadian and other radiometric parameters. Accessory focussing optics are available to reduce the measurement area down to as small as 0.5mm diameter.
Accessory optics are now available for measuring the luminance of AR/VR glasses.
