Flicker Photometers

Photometers measure the “power” of visible light emitted from a light source, scaled to the standard CIE photopic observer function. A flicker photometer is a specialised, high speed meter that also detects potentially hazardous temporal variations in the output from light sources and displays.

SphereOptics supplies a flicker photometer from Labsphere that can be used on an integrating sphere and from SSL Resource that can be used with a goniophotometer. The JETI flicker meter is a standalone device, whilst the ILT 710 flicker photometer is unique in that it doesn’t need to be operated from a computer – making it completely portable.

A fully portable illuminance flicker meter – no need to carry around a computer!
