Tunable Spectral Calibration Sources from Labsphere for image sensor testing

SpectrALL is the new series of tunable spectral calibration sources introduced from our partner Labsphere for image sensor testing. Labsphere is a recognized leader in image sensor calibration sources for R&D labs and also consumer and industry imaging products. The SpectrALL series includes several models, all engineered for the high-performance requirements in image sensor production for calibration and testing. These models are ideal to calibrate CCD or CMOS cameras, electronic imaging devices, medical endoscopes, ambient light sensors, etc. and enable tests such as luminance responsivity, image validation and correction, uniformity, or flat fielding.

The Spectra-FT fine tunable VIS-NIR spectral calibration sources for example is a highly uniform source of spectral radiance that can accurately reproduce almost any spectrum from 390 to 1000 nm. The Spectra-FT is already in successful use in the automotive industry to uniformly irradiate imagers and optical sensors with a flat field of light over 360° x 200° field of view, covering 10 to 25,000 cd/m² form VIS to NIR with unlimited spectrum reproduction options and spectral weighting.

One instrument that produces unlimited spectrums, a large area uniform radiance field in a compact and robust instrument. These sources are designed to easily mount in a production test station with active spectral feedback and user recalibration features.
